Weight training!

Mar-Mar bought some weights to help us keep our girlish figures! I thought I would give them a try.

I have to mentally prepare--and stand next to MarMar to do it right!
Let me see...is it breathe in or breathe out as I lift?

Happy Springtime!

I know it's not really Springtime officially yet, but it sure felt like it today! I got up early and went with Mommy and Mar-Mar to Sacramento to watch my Aunt Sarah run in a half-marathon! She did pretty good! I couldn't do it! (I just learned to walk, silly!--Give me a few years!)

I was having fun just hangin' out and waiting for Sarah and Tony to finish!
Like my hat????
I got a hat just like mine for Aunt Sarah. So she invited me over to her house for pie after the race. Mommy and Mar-Mar went, too.

When we got home, there was yard work to do!

But I can't get any work done when all Oompah wants to do is play with me!

I forget who was saying what here, but don't I at least LOOK interested??

I don't know why Mommy stood so far back to take this picture, but I thought I look cute here, so I included it in today's blog! It's a woman's perogative, you know!

I don't think I ever got anything done, but I did LOOK GOOD in this outfit, didn't I???

This isn't your "mummie's" museum!

Hola! Soy Lily! (inside joke for Oompah!)
I had a lot of fun today! Mommy took me on my first official play date with my friends Luke and Kayley and their mommies. We went to the Children's museum in Stockton, where we live.

I thought the fire engine was smokin'! (Another "Oompah" pun--sorry!)

Here's Luke and me discussing the aerodynamics of helicopters. He's pretty smart for a boy!

I "bearly" made it out of there!
Actually, the bear's not so tough! He should see ME when I'm hungry!

Taking advantage of God's great sunshine!

It was such a nice day Sunday that I thought I would like to play outside. So MarMar and Mommy helped me get around on my tricycle, then we played a little soccer before getting back to work on the hedges! I'll let the pictures speak for themselves!

It's supposed to start raining again tomorrow, so I won't be able to get out much for the next couple of days. More pictures as soon as I can! Bye now!

Workin' it with Mar Mar

I like to exercise to the Jane Fonda workout video with MarMar in the evenings. It helps us both keep our "girlish" figures! Oompah says MarMar is looking goooooood!

That's it!--Work it, work it!
Sometimes Mar Mar gets the instructions wrong and we get tangled up!

But that's what makes it fun!

Birthday Wishes for Great-Grandma!

Happy Birthday, Great Grandma! Can you believe it? 91 years old today! Thank you for coming over to my house to celebrate it! I always have fun when I see you! Next time, though, bring your walker so I can help you get around! (Ha ha)

God Bless you GG!

Oompah says you got 3 candles instead of 91 because his smoke detector isn't working right!
Well, you blew out all the candles! Did you make a wish? I hope it comes true!

I don't know what you said, but Auntie Sarah and Daddy thought it was funny!

Good-bye for now! See you again soon!

Happy Valentine's Day!

Happy St. Valentine's Day, everybody! Here are some pictures we took this weekend. It was a pretty busy couple of days. When I got home tonight, I was really tired! So I'll let Oompah put the pictures on my blog while I go to bed. He's good about that sort of thing.

Here, I was able to talk Great-grandma into reading a couple of my books to me while we were waiting for Daddy to be baptized.
I had to show Auntie Carolyn the way into the church from the parking lot.

Grandma looked like she needed some help, so I stepped in!
After Daddy's big day, we went to Murphy's and had a lunch to celebrate his happy day along with Mommy's and Aunt Sarah's birthdays. It seemed like EVERYBODY was there!
Then, most of us went on up to Arnold and the cabin to finish out the long weekend. I love the cabin. Here, we're finishing up a light snack before dinner.
My cousins Hilary, Paige, and Frankie went to play on the swings in the snow with me. I can't go as high as they can---YET!
Aunt Sarah and her boyfriend Tony were goofing off in one of those "Snuggles". I really like Tony! He's a lot of fun to be with!
Then it was Mommy and Daddy's turn to "Snuggle" up. But I didn't want them to be alone!
Here's Mommy and Aunt Sarah waiting to blow out candles on their birthday cake.
Well, that's all the pictures for now. We'll try to get some more by next week. I really like showing them to you!

I love to swing!

Playing on the swings is one of my favorite things! Especially in the snow!

What a week!

First I learned to walk, now I'm learning how to read the newspaper! I think I'll wait a while to actually understand what I'm reading, though, because Oompah says the news isn't much good these days and I don't want to have to worry at my age!

Ha Ha! Just kidding!, I don't really know how to read, silly! Can't you tell the newspaper is upside down????

I was just pacing myself

I thought today would be a good day to start walking! It seems to make everybody happy.

Having fun with Daddy

Daddy and me found a fun way to use the lid to my toy box, don't you think?

Stylish and functional

Well, it's a new year! Mommy, Daddy, and Mer-Mer took me to the cabin. I don't know what "tradition" means, but they said that's what it is! Mer-Mer started to clean out some cabinets and I wanted to help. But it was dark in there! So Aunt Sarah gave me a light to wear on my head! She said I look like a "spleunker", whatever that is! (I'm learning all kinds of new words in the new year, huh?)

Merry Christmas!

Christmas Eve and Christmas Day were both really fun for me.

Early in the afternoon of Christmas Eve (before church) my friends Kyra and Austin came over and we exchanged presents.
Then, since my cousin Francesca (Frankie) had to work (BUMMER!) on Christmas Day, she and Great-Aunt Carolyn came to my house on Christmas Eve after church for a dinner of ham and from-scratch macaroni-and-cheese that Mommie and Aunt Sarah made. It was my first time having mac and cheese--I loved it! Great-Aunt Vickie and my cousins Hilary and Page were there, too. After dinner we opened presents just like it was Christmas Day! I had a lot of fun. Here's some pictures:

Here's Kyra, Austin and me having some quality time.

Oompah just can't seem to get everybody in the picture!
But here's Aunt Vickie, Frankie, Aunt Carolyn, Hilary, and Paige.
Did I mention I loooove presents?
Do you like my bow?
Frankie made "yule log" cakes at school. I understand they were pretty good. (Mommy wouldn't let me have any)

Then we got up early on Christmas Day so we could open the presents that we didn't open yesterday and of course the presents from Santa!

Wait! Wait! Let me get organized! This is serious business!

This is more like it!
Did you need some help, Auntie Sarah?
Oompah's always good for a laugh!
This is my tree! Only Oompah and me know that he lets me touch it!

Then it was into my Christmas dress and off to Great-Grandma Patty's house for MORE PRESENTS and DINNER! I got my first raviolis--and were they good! Mmmmmm!

I think I woud love candy, if Mar-Mar would just open it for me!
Not even if I gave her my "sweetest girl" look? Oh! She just didn't want me to spoil my dinner!

Did I mention that raviolis are great?

It's fun playing with the spoon when you're done, too!

You can't tell ME Santa isn't real!
I've still got a half-day to go! I'd better get some rest.
I finally met my Grandma and Grandpa on my Daddy's side of the family! That's me in the middle! Can you tell?

That's all for now, unless Oompah decides to focus just on ME, ME, ME and sends some old pictures or MarMar or Mommy take some new ones.

Love,

Lily
